Self Idenitiy
This section of work is about how I think differently being dyslexic and how I deal with it. I want to spread awareness to help people with dyslexia who might relate to this and help people understand who might not know about dyslexia. I have created a photo book to help people understand my way of thinking.
Representation
This section of work is based on my boyfriend who has ADHD. I explored ADHD and showed some of the effects it can have on people through my images.
Misrepresentation
In this section of work I have created a fashion magazine cover to show how I feel about wearing my glasses which I normally use for my dyslexia. I want to show them in a different light to see if I feel differently about myself.
Abstract Representation
This section of work is about spreading awareness of dyslexia and ADHD by showing products which I have found useful with my journey through dyslexia and objects which have helped my boyfriend with his ADHD.
Space and Place
Theses images explore the industrial heritage of Ironbridge in Shropshire and how the river Severn has dominated the landscape.
My photographs look to capture how the Ironbridge community live with the constant threat of flooding and what the authorities are doing to reduce the impact.
Narrative
This was a collaborative project where we made a horror film trailer. My film is about a girl in an office who is being stalked by another man but she doesn't know how it is until the end. press read more the view my trailer.
Enterprise
The Museum of Cannock Chase, Staffordshire located on the site of the former valley colliery Hednesford is set to close due to financial
constraints marking the end of an era for so many including myself.
My work aims to document the many diverse stories showcased in the
museum, highlighting its rich industrial heritage, military connection, encompassed in a designated area of outstanding natural beauty, which the community are immensely proud.
This endeavour seeks to preserve those memories for generations to come.
