Pack It, Eat It

Millions of tonnes of edible food waste are thrown away each year in the UK. Whilst others in our community cannot afford to eat. 

I   created a documentary stop motion clip, “Pack it Eat it”, using lunch boxes in a school to show an example of one key area where food was wasted, which helped explain the scale of food wasted in totality.

 To raise awareness and allowing the audience to consider what they could do to reduce food waste in their household by reducing, reusing, recycling or redirect surplus food that otherwise would go to landfill and lend to remove the fictional attitude that food waste is too big a concern for them to do anything about and may even save them some money and aid those in the community who cannot afford to eat.
